There will be an education ring in the showhall on Saturday and
Sunday (September 1-2, 2018). CEUs will be available for those
attending. There is NO CHARGE to attend any of the sessions. Here is our current schedule of education ring topics:
SATURDAY - September 1, 2018
9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. | Presentation by Junior Exhibitors on the projects they have done this year
| 10:00 a.m. - noon | "Neonatal care and optimal cat breeding"
Presented
by Dr. Rick Kesler. Dr Kessler is a veterinarian from Kansas who
has a great deal of experience working with breeders and is also known
to be an engaging and entertaining speaker.
| 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. | "Patterns and Colors of Wild and Domestic Cats"
Presented by Greg Barsh, MD, PhD - Hudson Alpha Institute for Biotechnology - Huntsville, Alabama
| 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. | "Q & A on the TICA Judging Program"
Marylou Anderson and Katharina Krenn will answer your questions about the judging program and the newly formed judge's committee

Those attending the neonatal care and patterns and colors sessions will earn 4.5 CEUs
SUNDAY - September 2, 2018
9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. | "Cat Care 101"
- Focused on kids learning how to take care of cats. Earn
certificates and badges for attending! Spectators are welcome to
attend!
