SHOW HOTEL/HALL: This is an all-in-one show!  Our showhall and hotel is the Park Inn by Radisson Resort & Conference Center Orlando, 3011 Maingate Lane, Kissimmee, FL 34747. Room rate is $77 for up to 4 people per room and includes free parking and complimentary internet access in guest rooms and the show hall

HOTEL RESERVATONS:  Can be made by calling the hotel at 407 396-1400 and book under our group name SANDY or online at http://bit.ly/2GAQwVx. (IMPORTANT: If you book online make sure you select your check in and check out dates on the left side of the page and then click Search Again prior to clicking the Book Now button. If you don’t do this before clicking Book Now, you will be making a reservation for the entire time the room rate is available (July 25, 2018-August 1, 2018).  A credit card is required to guarantee your room reservation.  The room rate is valid until the block is filled or until June 27, 2018 at 5 pm Eastern.  After that time any reservation requests will be accepted on a space and rate available basis.  All reservation request after June 27, 2018 must be made by calling the hotel to book.  The room rate is available from July 27, 2018 through Thursday, August 1, 2018 for those wanting to enjoy an extended vaCATion.

Please give a good impression of our TICA family by leaving your room as though no cats were ever in it.  The club will follow the TICA Hotel Room policy (http://www.tica.org/members/forms/eo/hotel_room_policy.pdf).   The hotel will charge $150 for any rooms with damage.

A concession service is available serving both breakfast and lunch. No outside food can be brought into the show hall.  There is a Pizza Hut in the hotel lobby.

REGIONAL BANQUET: The banquet will be on Saturday night at the Park Inn.  See banquet page for additional information.   

TRANSPORTATION: If you are flying into Orlando International (MCO), transportation can be obtained from Super Shuttle (407-513-0230 or http://www.supershuttle.com/Locations/MCOAirportShuttleOrlando.aspx), Mears Shuttle (407-422-4561 or http://www.mearstransportation.com/global/orlando/) or Go Airport Shuttle (844-787-1670 or http://goairportshuttle.com/) limos, taxis and car rental agencies are available. Avis and Budget also have car rental counters in the hotel lobby. The Park Inn does not have transportation or a shuttle to and from the airport however complementary shuttle service is available to the Walt Disney World parks, which are located only 2 miles away from the hotel!

ACCESSIBILITY:  The show hall is a non-smoking, climate-controlled facility.  The Park Inn meets ADA requirements for accessibility.

SHOW HOURS:  Saturday check-in will be 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.  Judging will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. both days.  Advertised show hours are until 5:00 p.m. In consideration of our paying spectators, no cats may be removed from the show hall before the end of advertised show hours without show manager’s permission.  No cats may be left in the show hall overnight.

PAYMENT: By entering the show, you agree to pay all fees whether you attend the show or not.  Make money orders and checks payable to Sandy Claws Cat Fanciers.  PayPal payments can be made to: Sandyclawsseregional@gmail.com. Checks returned for any reason will be charged a $40 returned check fee.

BENCHING AND SUPPLIES:  A single cage (22”x22”x22”) is provided for each cat entered.  Two (2) kittens or one (1) cat are permitted in a single cage.  Double cages (22”x22”x45”) are available upon request for an additional fee of $25.  Since single width “wire” cages are unavailable, if you are bringing your own cage, even if only a single width cage, you must purchase a double cage space. A grooming space is the same size as a double cage space. Special benching requests will be honored to the best of our ability.  For your cat’s comfort, the top, sides, and bottom of the cages must be covered.  Vending from the benching area is prohibited unless prearranged with the club.  Litter will be provided, but please bring your own litter box.

CATS FOR SALE:  Sales cages will be available to exhibitors only and cats or kittens for sale must be owned by the same paid exhibitor.  Kittens must be three (3) calendar months of age.  Proof of age must be provided on request.  No kittens or cats may be confined to carriers during show hours.  Any person disregarding these rules will be asked to leave the showhall.

Florida requires health certificates accompany any animal sold in the state. Sandy Claws Cat Fanciers takes no responsibility for your failure to familiarize yourself with applicable Florida statutes.  Health Certificates must be available for review if requested.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:  This is a non-vetted show.  Cats showing signs of ear mites, fleas, fungus, or any other illness will not be permitted in the showhall.  All entries should be immunized against feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and feline enteritis, and should test negative for feline leukemia and feline AIDS.  Any cat or kitten from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within 21 days prior to the opening date of the show is ineligible for entry and/or exhibition. Any cat which is obviously pregnant or lactating will be disqualified.  All claws (front and back) must be clipped prior to judging.  Declawed cats are eligible for competition, although this practice is not sanctioned.

Florida law requires any animal over the age of 4 months be vaccinated against rabies within the last 12 months.  Proof of current rabies vaccination might be requested.

REGISTRATION:  Cats shown in the Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits classes must be registered in TICA to compete. For all other classes registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in the cat’s first show, but is required for confirmation of titles and scoring for TICA Regional and International Awards after the cat’s first TICA show.  The exception is Household Pet Kittens.  Household Pet Kittens will be scored for TICA Regional and International Awards regardless of TICA registration status.

HOUSEHOLD PETS:  Household pets over the age of 7 months of age must be spayed or neutered.  If you are unsure of your cat’s color, please send a color photo of your cat along with your entry.  Printed photos will be returned at check-in.

KITTENS:  Kittens entered in the show must be at least 4 months, but less than 8 months, of age on the day of the show.  Altered kittens are eligible for entry.

CLERKS: If interested in clerking at the show, please contact the entry clerk. Our clerks will be paid $40 per day, provided lunch, and a marked catalog by e-mail.  Clerks may not deduct anticipated clerk payment from entry fees.

SHOW RULES:  TICA Show Rules will be strictly enforced.  By entering all exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and show committee.  Official Show Rules can be obtain for $7.00 from TICA, P.O. LIABILITY The show management shall take all reasonable care of cats, carriers and other personal property of exhibitors, but it is expressly stipulated that neither the show management nor any member of the club nor the club sponsoring the show can be held liable for the loss of or accident to the cats, carriers or other personal property of any exhibitor.  Neither Sandy Claws CF, Park Inn, nor TICA may be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to animals, personal property, exhibitors or their guests.
