Airport Transportation: You can fly into Dayton International Airport (DAY) Show Hours: Check-in will be from 12:30 - 1:45PM on Friday and 7:30-8:30am on Saturday. Judging will begin promptly at 2:00PM on Friday and 9:00AM on Saturday & Sunday. Advertised show hours for the public are 2:00 to 9:00PM on Friday and 9:00AM to 5:00PM on Saturday & Sunday. Permission from show management must be obtained to leave earlier. IMPORTANT: You will not be able to setup prior to check-in on Friday. Supplies: Cat litter will be provided in the show hall only. Please bring your own litter pans. No cat food will be provided. Cages: Single cages (1/2 cage) measuring 22"L x 22"W x 22"H; Double cages (whole cage) are 44"L x 22"W x 22"H. The top, sides, and back of cages MUST be covered. Grooming space is 44"L x 22"W x 22"H. No more than one adult cat or two kittens are allowed per single cage. Benching: All exhibitors will have assigned benching. Benching requests MUST be clearly indicated on the summary sheets, and we will try to accommodate all requests. No one may change their benching without permission of show management. Cats and kittens may not be stored in kennels or carriers under the cages. For Sale: Cats and kittens for sale will be permitted. Kittens must be three calendar months of age. Proof of age must be provided upon request. For sale cages are available ONLY for exhibitors with other cats entered. Health Rules: This is a non-vetted show. It is recommended that all entries be up to date on all immunizations. Any cats showing evidence of fungus, ear mites, fleas, or a contagious disease will be removed from the show hall as well as any other cats owned, housed, or agented by the same exhibitor. TICA show rules require all claws, front and back, be clipped prior to judging. Household Pet Adults (8 months or older) must be spayed/neutered. Registration: With the exception of Preliminary New Breeds, Advanced New Breeds and New Traits, it is not necessary for cats, kittens, alters or household pets to be registered with TICA to compete. Registration is necessary for your entry to be scored for titles, regional and international awards. Championship cats, kittens, alters, household pet kittens and household pet adults will only be scored once without registration. Awards: Each entry will receive a rosette at the beginning of the show. Awards plaques will be given in all rings for finals in accordance with TICA Show Rules. Show Rules: TICA show rules and related rules will be strictly enforced. By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by these rules. Show rules may be obtained from the TICA Executive Office. We also accept credit cards and echecks via PayPal. PayPal is free, to sign up just go to PayPal.com payments should be made to the following address: chris.unangst@gmail.com Checks returned by the bank for any reason must be immediately repaid, including a bounced check fee of $50 per check. Clerks & Stewards: Clerks and stewards are always needed and greatly appreciated. Please indicate on your summary sheet if you are able to clerk or steward. Do NOT deduct clerking/stewarding fees from your entry fees. Payment will be given at the end of the day or weekend. Please let us know if you will have someone available. For the comfort of our exhibitors and spectators: The show hall area will be designated as non-smoking. Children are always welcome at our shows, but for the enjoyment of all, we request that youngsters be supervised at all times. Show management reserves the right to ask parents to control or remove disruptive children as well as any other disruptive exhibitors, spectators, etc. Liability: Neither Flying Felines, TICA, Dayton Dog Training Club, the show hotel, or any other facility associated with the show can be held liable for loss, theft, accident/injury to animals, personal property, exhibitors, or their guests. |
