Show Hall: Temple City Gym, 240 Rome Street, Temple, GA 30179 (Exit 19 on I-20). Show Hotel: Comfort Inn, 5487 Westmoreland Plaza, Douglasville, GA 30134. Rate is $79 plus tax (no pet fee). Call 678-504-2000 and ask for the Atlanta FantasTICAts block. 25 double rooms are in the block and are available from November 24-27. Block expires October 25. Atlanta FantasTICAts has elected to follow the TICA Hotel Room Inspection Procedures for exhibitors who lodge at the show hotels. Entry in this show, and lodging at the show hotel, shall constitute an acknowledgment by and consent of the exhibitor to these procedures. Show Hours: Check in will be 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM. Judging will begin promptly at 9:00 AM both days Advertised show hours will be 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday. Please plan to remain in the show hall during advertised show hours. We need our gate! Registration: With the exception of cats competing in the Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits classes, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in a cat's first show. However, to be scored for TICA titles and Regional / International awards, all cats must be registered by their second show. Please contact TICA for registration forms and information (TICA, P. O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551). All Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits entries must have a TICA registration number to be shown. Show Rules: TICA show rules will be strictly enforced. By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and show committee. Official show rules, registration information & forms may be obtained from TICA, P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551 or viewed on their website at www.tica.org. Jr Exhibitor Entries: Will close November 20, 2017 and are $50 per entry. All juniors must be present and competing to qualify for the discount. Payment: By entering the show, you agree to pay all fees whether you attend the show or not. Entry fees are NOT refundable or transferrable. Fees must be received no later than the closing date of November 20, 2017. The club reserves the right to require payment in cash or money order. Entries belonging to exhibitors on TICA's Temporary or Permanent Suspension lists will not be accepted. Payment at door must be in cash only and only if approved in advance. Our PayPal account is AtlantaFantasTICAts@gmail.com. Atlanta FantasTICAts will pursue any debt owed us to the extent of TICA show rules and Georgia law. A charge of $35 plus all related fees will be assessed for a NSF check. Benching: Each entry will be assigned a single cage, approx. 22" X 22" X 22". The two sides, back, and top must be covered. For the comfort of your cat(s), please bring something for the bottom of the cage too! TICA rules allow no more than two kittens or one cat benched in a single cage. NO KITTENS OR CATS MAY BE CONFINED TO CARRIERS, EITHER DISPLAYED OR UNDER CAGES, DURING SHOW HOURS. Any person disregarding these rules will be asked to leave the show. If you are bringing your own cage, you must pay for an even number of single benching spaces. Grooming spaces: These measure 22 inches x 22 inches x 44 inches. Services: Litter will be available. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food, and bowls. There will be people food available in the show hall. Health: This is a non-vetted show. Cats showing signs of ear mites, fleas, fungus, or other illness will be escorted from the show hall along with any other cats owned, housed, or agented by the same exhibitor. All entries should be immunized against feline rhinotracheitis, calici virus, and panleukopenia, and should test negative for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Any feline from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within twenty-one days prior to the opening day of the show is ineligible for entry. An obviously pregnant or lactating cat will be disqualified. TICA show rules require all claws, front and back, be clipped prior to judging. Kittens: All kittens entered for competition must be at least four (4) and less than eight (8) calendar months old on the day of the show. No kitten under 3 months of age will be allowed in the show hall (be prepared to show proof of age). Kittens may be spayed or neutered. Household Pets: Household pets are very welcome at this show! Declawed Household Pets are OK at TICA shows. This is due to the number of HHPs that are rescue cats and may have already been declawed at the time of rescue. Household pets 8 months of age and older MUST be spayed or neutered. Photo will be returned at check in. Clerks / Stewards: Please indicate on the Summary Form if you will be available to clerk. Ring clerks will be paid $30 per day, provided lunch and a marked catalog. Ring clerks will be assigned when entries have closed. Requests to clerk are not guarantees of assignment. DO NOT DEDUCT CLERKING FEES FROM ENTRY FEES. Compensation will be made at the end of the show. Stewards will be compensated $20 per day and provided lunch. Awards: Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with TICA Show Rules. This show is scored for TICA Regional and International awards. Liability: Atlanta FantasTICAts, TICA, the Temple City Gym, and/or La Quinta will not be held liable for injury, loss or damage to cats, exhibitors, property of exhibitors, vendors, or other such persons or property in attendance. |
