Hotel
Room Inspection Procedures for exhibitors who lodge at the show hotels.
Entry
in this show, and lodging at the show hotel, shall constitute an
acknowledgment
by and consent of the exhibitor to these procedures.
Transportation:
Closest
airport is Atlanta-Hartsfield international airport (ATL). Temple, GA is located west
of Atlanta off of
I-20.
Show Hours: Check in will be 7:30 AM - 8:30
AM. Judging will begin
promptly at 9:00 AM both days Advertised show hours are 9:00 AM to 4:00
PM both
days. Please plan to remain in the show hall during advertised show
hours. We
need our gate!
Registration:
With
the exception of cats competing in the Preliminary New Breed, Advanced
New
Breed, and New Traits classes,
registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in a cat's first
show.
However, to be scored for TICA titles and Regional / International
awards, all
cats (except household pet kittens) must be registered by their second
show.
Please contact TICA for registration forms and information (TICA, P. O.
Box
2684, Harlingen, TX 78551). All Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New
Breed, and
New Traits entries must have a TICA registration number to be shown.
Show Rules: TICA show rules will be strictly
enforced. By entering, exhibitors
agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and show committee.

Payment: By entering the show, you agree to pay all fees
whether you attend
the show or not. Entry fees are NOT refundable or transferrable. Fees
must be
received no later than the closing date of December 15m 2018. The club
reserves
the right to require payment in cash or money order. Entries belonging
to
exhibitors on TICA's Temporary or Permanent Suspension lists will not
be
accepted. Payment at door must be in cash only and only if approved in
advance.

Atlanta FantasTICAts
will pursue any debt owed us to the extent of TICA show rules and
Georgia law.
A charge of $35 plus all related fees will be assessed for a NSF check.
Benching: Each entry will be assigned a single cage, approx.
22" X
22" X 22". The two sides, back, and top must be covered. For the
comfort of your cat(s), please bring something for the bottom of the
cage too!
TICA rules allow no more than two kittens or one cat benched in a
single cage.
NO KITTENS OR CATS MAY BE CONFINED TO CARRIERS, EITHER DISPLAYED OR
UNDER
CAGES, DURING SHOW HOURS. Any person disregarding these rules will be
asked to
leave the show. If you are bringing your own cage, you must pay for an
even
number of single benching spaces.
Grooming spaces: These measure 22 inches x 22
inches x 44 inches.
Services: Litter will be available. Please
bring your own litter pans,
cat food, and bowls. There will be people food available in the show
hall.
Health: This is a non-vetted show. Cats
showing signs of ear mites,
fleas, fungus, or other illness will be escorted from the show hall
along with
any other cats owned, housed, or agented by the same exhibitor. All
entries
should be immunized against feline rhinotracheitis, calici virus, and
panleukopenia, and should test negative for feline leukemia and feline
AIDS.
Any feline from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any
infectious or contagious illness within twenty-one days prior to the
opening
day of the show is ineligible for entry. An obviously pregnant or
lactating cat
will be disqualified. TICA show rules require all claws, front and
back, be
clipped prior to judging.
IMPORTANT:
Georgia law requires any animal over the age of 4 months to be
vaccinated
against rabies within the last 12 months (be prepared to show proof)
Kittens: All kittens entered for competition
must be at least four (4)
and less than eight (8) calendar months old on the day of the show. No
kitten
under 3 months of age will be allowed in the show hall (be prepared to
show
proof of age). Kittens may be spayed or neutered.
Household Pets: Household pets are very welcome at this
show! Declawed
Household Pets are OK at TICA shows. This is due to the number of HHPs
that are
rescue cats and may have already been declawed at the time of rescue.
Household
pets 8 months of age and older MUST be spayed or neutered. If you are
not sure
of the proper class or color of your cat, check out http://www.seregiontica.org/Colors/intro.htm
or send the entry
clerk a color photo of your entry. Photo will be returned at check in.
Clerks / Stewards: Please indicate on the
Summary Form if you will be
available to clerk. Ring clerks will be paid $30 per day, provided
lunch and a
marked catalog. Ring clerks will be assigned when entries have closed.
Requests
to clerk are not guarantees of assignment. DO NOT DEDUCT CLERKING FEES
FROM
ENTRY FEES. Compensation will be made at the end of the show. Stewards
will be
compensated $20 per day and provided lunch.
Awards: Awards will be given in accordance with TICA Show
Rules. This show
is scored for TICA Regional and International awards.
Liability: Atlanta FantasTICAts, TICA, the
Temple City Gym, and/or the
show hotels will not be held liable for injury, loss or damage to cats,
exhibitors, property of exhibitors, vendors, or other such persons or
property
in attendance.
