COVID UPDATE - July 1st, 2020 

The state of Virginia has entered needed Phase III, show is expected to go on as planned. United Cat Club will not be held reliable for exhibitor transportation costs in the event of cancellation, trip insurance for airfare is recommended. Entry fees will be refunded if the show is cancelled. Club reserves the right to change the judging line up as needed.


In order to ensure the safety of others, all exhibitors, show management and judges are required to wear a mask and will have their temperatures checked during check-in.  Any individual with a fever or symptoms of COVID-19 will be required to leave. Benching will be set up 6 feet apart.  A Pre-Screen Health Form will be required to be completed during check in, refusal to complete will be refused entry, entry fees will not be reimbursed.  TICA and United Cat Club Inc., it's officers, members, volunteers and employees will not be held reliable for potential exposure to COVID-19.  By entering this event, individuals recognize it is at their own risk and choice.  United Cat Club Inc. is working diligently to operate in accordance to Virginia State Health and Safety regulations, please direct questions and comments to: UnitedCatClub@gmail.com

Show Hours:

   Friday (April 23, 2021): Check-in: 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.  Judging 3:00 p.m. until complete. 

   Saturday (April 24, 2021): Check-in: 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.  Judging 9:00 a.m. until complete.

   Sunday (April 25, 2021): Check-in: 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.  Judging 9:00 a.m. until complete.


   No cats may remain in the show hall overnight.


Show Hall Food:

There are no food venues present at the show hall itself, however the club will be selling snacks, pizza, subs and drinks both days during lunch. There is also a McDonalds directly across the street from the show hall. If you have special dietary needs, or special requests, we encourage you to bring your own food. 


Junior Exhibitors: Will be hosted Saturday at 1 pm by Judge TBD.  Each Junior Exhibitor will receive a rosette and special gift from our prize bucket.

Cages and Supplies: PLEASE NOTE:  Please contact us should you need assistance with finding a suitable show cage. Two (2) kittens or one (1) cat are permitted in a single  (22 x 22 x 27 ) cage. All cages must be covered on the top and three sides. Please bring your own litter pans, food and dishes. Litter will be provided in the show hall.  Cage spaces are 22”x22”x27” for a single cage and 22”x 44”x27” for a double cage.  Exhibitors wishing end of aisle: Please be aware that you may not place your grooming tables, coolers, etc. at the end of aisle due to traffic flow and safety.  


Household Pets: Household pet kittens (ages 4 - 7 months) and adults (8 months and older) may be entered. All adult HHP entries must be altered (spay or neutered). If you are unsure of the proper color class for your pet, include a full description or a photo (photo will be returned with confirmation).


Kittens: Kittens entered for competition must be at least four months old on the first day of the show. Please contact us for further information. TICA litter registration must be available upon request of show management.  No kittens or cats are to be confined to carriers, either displayed or under tables.


Benching: All exhibitors will have assigned benching.  Benching requests must be clearly indicated on the summary sheet, and we will try to accommodate all requests.  Otherwise, we will attempt to bench by breed.  No one may change their benching without permission of Show Management. Exhibitors may NOT leave before the advertised show hours without permission from Show Management.


Show Rules: This show is sanctioned by The International Cat Association and is subject to their Show Rules and Breed Standards (available from the TICA Executive Office, P.O.Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551).  By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the Show Committee and Judges. 


Registration: With the exception of preliminary new breeds, advanced new breeds and new traits entries, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in a cat’s first show, but is required for the confirmation of titles and TICA Regional/International scoring and awards. Pedigreed cats and household pets may be shown in TICA with a pending registration number.  Points may be claimed after the registration number is assigned, but only for the first show where the cat didn’t have a registration number in the catalogue.  Subsequent shows without a registration number will not be scored.  All Korats (kittens, cats, alters) must be TICA registered to be shown.


Awards: Awards will be presented in accorance to TICA show rules.

Health Rules:  This is a non-vetted show. All cats/kittens entering the show hall should be inoculated against Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, and Calici virus and tested negative for Feline Leukemia. Proof of current rabies vaccination should be available. Any cat/kitten showing signs of contagious illness, ear mites, fleas or fungus will be removed from the show hall, as well as any other cats/kittens exhibiting from the same household.  HHP adults must be neutered.  All claws, front and back, on all entries must be clipped prior to benching. A cat which is obviously pregnant or lactating will be disqualified.  


Entry and Summary Information:  We are using the web-based TOES system to collect exhibitor summary and entry details.  If you need help setting up a TOES account, our entry clerk can assist you but first please watch this helpful video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOoTQ8mhVkk Once you enter your cats, all related fees must be paid in a timely manner.  As per the TICA rules, United Cat Club Inc. will not issue any refunds if you or any of the cats entered in our show are not able to attend.   Substitutions are possible until closing date; please contact entry clerk for details. A fee of $30.00 plus any bank fees will be charged on all checks turned for any reason.  Any entry monies owed to United Cat Club Inc. at time of check-in must be paid in cash or money order.  No checks will be accepted at check-in. Please complete the summary sheet and return with entries and fees. NO REFUNDS. 

Clerks & Stewards: Please indicate on the summary sheet if you are interested in clerking. We are always in need of clerks and stewards. Clerks will be paid $40 per day,  Stewards will be paid $25 per day.  Lunch will also be provided. Please do not deduct clerking fees from your entry fees.

Catalog Advertising: Full page $45.00, Half Page $25.00, Business card $10.00, Full Page TICA Show Flyer $20.  Catalog size is 8.5" X 11”.  Ad must be camera ready.  Please send copy and remittance to entry clerk.

New Exhibitors:  We warmly welcome you to our United Cat Club Inc.
